• When privacy-safe product analytics are enabled, NewSpot receives the interaction type, public city ID, optional public place ID, app version, bounded action context, and a random session value that is hashed server-side.
• NewSpot product analytics do not include your email, account ID, private notes, visit dates, contacts, precise coordinates, advertising ID, or a stable device ID. Development and preview app builds suppress these events.
• If you sign in, private account data can include your verified email, Saved places and notes, follows, Cards progress, self-reported visits, preferences, and account activity needed to provide continuity.
• If you explicitly enable native notifications, NewSpot stores a push-provider token, platform, permission state, last-seen time, and a one-way hash of the app installation identifier. The raw token is available only to the private delivery service and is excluded from your archive.
• When production crash reporting is configured, NewSpot sends errors, stack traces, native crash reasons, app/OS/device model context, crash-free session state, and a 10% sample of app-start or screen-load performance. It disables replay, screenshots, view hierarchy, logs, breadcrumbs, failed-request capture, user identity, request URLs, query strings, and profiling; JavaScript error messages are replaced before delivery and the IP field is fixed to 0.0.0.0.
• Community reports may include notes, optional contact details, optional photo URLs, and private uploaded photo evidence.
• Owner correction and business claim flows may include contact details, verification notes, and public business context.
• Approximate browser location can support radius mode only when you choose to share it. The native app does not request location permission or collect background location.
• If you explicitly open street context for a public place, NewSpot asks Mapillary for imagery near that place’s public coordinates through NewSpot’s server. NewSpot does not send Mapillary your device location, account identity, Saved state, or private visit history.

• Consumer actions help identify stale records, possible false closures, duplicate places, and launch-quality gaps.
• Contact details are used to handle a request, verify an owner correction, or send a requested update.
• Submitted reports do not automatically change public map facts.
• Notifications are sent only for a saved place or followed interest you explicitly chose, after a newly observed public source-backed change, and no more often than your daily or weekly cap.
• NewSpot uses service providers for hosting, database and authentication, email, push delivery, production crash diagnostics, and optional public street imagery. They process data only to provide those functions under their own security and privacy obligations.
• Housing and access analytics are neighborhood and market level. They do not infer protected-class traits.

• No paid consumer ranking.
• No sale of consumer contact details.
• No public display of reporter identity without consent.
• No device-level movement profiles in the public app.
• No cross-company advertising tracking in the current consumer app.

• You can browse, save locally, and use Cards without creating an account.
• The native Me screen lets you disable anonymous product analytics and deletes its queued events and random analytics session from that device.
• Notification controls are separate from follows. You can pause each topic, choose daily or weekly delivery, remove the current device, or use system settings after denying permission.
• Signing out unregisters notifications for that app installation. Clearing a device removes its local NewSpot data; it does not delete account data stored for another device.
• Signed-in consumers can prepare an account archive and submit an authenticated deletion request from the account-data center. Account deletion removes account-linked private records and authentication after required ownership checks; public source-backed place facts are not personal account data.

• NewSpot keeps account and submission records only while needed to provide the requested feature, protect the service, satisfy applicable obligations, or complete a deletion request. Operational records may retain a redacted audit without the deleted identity.
• Notification provider tokens are removed when you remove the device, sign out, delete the account, or when the provider reports that the device is no longer registered.
